Specify a URL

Choose a URL that is meaningful and easy to remember to ensure information can be found more easily by search engines and interested parties can better remember your URL.

To be able to define a URL, at least 25 fans are required to have clicked ‘Like’.

Log in to Facebook.com as usual and access your page.

Click on the ‘About’ tab and then click on ‘Enter a Facebook web address’. Click on ‘Create a web address for this page?’ in order to make a permanent subpage URL for Facebook.

Click on the button to continue as yourself if necessary and then enter your desired Facebook URL for your page in the field. Click on ‘Availability’ to see if the URL is available. Click on ‘Confirm’ to make it your URL.

Video Upload

Log in to Facebook.com as usual and access your page.

Click on the ‘More’ tab, then click on ‘Videos’. Click on ‘Add video’. Click on ‘Choose file’ and navigate to a video that has been saved to your computer. Select it and then click on ‘Open’ to upload it.

Enter a title for the video in the ‘Title’ field and then add a description about the video.

Click on ‘Post’ in order to post the video to your timeline.

Create an Event

Inform Facebook fans about upcoming events and extend invites to them to attend.

Log in to Facebook.com as usual and access your page.

Click on ‘Event milestone’, then click on ‘Event’.

Enter the name of the event, details and where the event is taking place. Select the time and date your event takes place. You can also add an end date and time by clicking on ‘End time?’

Click on ‘Create’ to create the event.

Add a Location

To ensure that your fan page on Facebook can be found, you should add a location including street name, house number, city and postal code. After saving the details a map appears on which you can correct the location if necessary.

Log in to Facebook.com as usual and access your page to view the changes.
